Hi, we are a couple ( Mick and Janet ) that love Australia. It's our backyard and we call ourselves GoannaWhere. So please join us as we explore Australia.

CAPE YORK
The rainforest areas are magical with their dense canopies, rare birds and the sounds of rushing water.

GULF COUNTRY
The Gulf takes you across great open plains of grass. It's an area with a lot of history and it's a great place to go barra fishing.

THE TOP END
I reckon the Top End contains some of the most fasinating landscape you'll see anywhere in the world. The ecarpment country is spectacular, the remote Colbourg Peninsula is a world of it's own, and then there is the teeming birdlife, the wetlands and rock formations of the Kakadu area.

THE KIMBERLEY
Like the Top End, the Kimberley is remote and startling. In the middle of nowhere you find rock pools, wonderful gorge country and ancient aboriginal rock art.

THE RED CENTRE
And last there is the Red Centre. This may be the place most people have heard about. It is a tremendous experience to get off the beaten track, to see the scrubby saltbush and spinifex of the Tanami streching off mile after mile. The desert sunrise is magic.
